Getting Started with WBT for LearnCenter

LearnCenter enables you to distribute several formats of Web-based training (WBT) created in a variety of third party authoring tools. Content includes WBT, AICC Courses, SCORM Classes and Courses.

There are several steps involved in implementing WBT in your LearnCenter:

  1. Create WBT - You, someone in your organization, or someone outside your organization creates the WBT content in an authoring tool.
  2. FTP WBT content files to your FTP Site - Using FTP software, you upload the content files to the FTP site for your LearnCenter.
  1. Import WBT content into LearnCenter- You import the content into your LearnCenter, creating a link or a pointer for the content inside LearnCenter. At this point, the content is in the "warehouse" and Users cannot yet see the content.
  2. Insert WBT content into LearnCenter - Once tested, you insert the content into LearnCenter in order for Users to see it.
  3. Distribute WBT to Users - Select one or more containers to distribute the content to Users. Containers include Enrollments, Assignments, and links to the content on LearnCenter pages.
